Tower of Tranquility: Building the tower

The Tower of Tranquility is Tomorrow Man's secret HQ in Space. I thought it would be fun to draw a map of it and I'm putting lots of detail- working  down to pixel level in my art. Its taking a lot of time! and I have worked for days on nothing else! I hope to be finished soon. Here are some rough drafts- not fully colored or shaded- to tantalize you:

 I can't WAIT to finish this and show you the whole thing!!!!

My Current Space Realtors Comic: the COVER!

 I won't lie to you- i'm very new at this blog thing so its all a learning experience to me. Today i'm learning on how to put my images on here. I don't know if this is the BEST way- but this is 'insert image' function on the main post page! Doubtless not the best way as the picutre is teeny tiny.

 Anyway -its good enough for my purposes today. Which is to proudly show the cover I drew last night for Space Realtors #8- a work in progress.

 Two things before I forget what they are.
1) I have drawn 7 other issues of the Space Realtors! The complete gallery of their comics and adventures is at: http://jerrykimbro.deviantart.com/gallery/

2)This issue is far from complete yet!  I am still having ideas for more pages- and so far have drawn about 16 pages. My comics usually run about 25 pages or so. And I try to do two stories a comic.

 The puzzle for me now will be- since I jumped the gun and showed you my current SR project- do I post my work here chronologically as the stories appear- or would you all just like updates on the current stores? Or both?

 I guess whatever is the most fun. I'll be updating MORE! Soon! I promise!

Hello!

 I am Jerry Kimbro - an unemployed cartoonist with a Vision of the Future! Dancing like little aliens in my head are the adventures of the Kozmik Avenger and Cybercat - the Space Realtors in the 42nd Century! - They are hot shot realtors for the Galactic Realty Corporation, inc- and their job is exploring space, finding and selling planets to the highest bidders. They live and work on their spacesloop 'the Newt' which is the fastest ship in th galaxy being able to travel through time and space at 10 times the speed of light.


 In short there is NOWHERE they can't go and NO time they can't get to. All they are looking for is the big Score -the ultimate profit that will land them in the lap of luxury where they can retire and be Space Realtors no more!


 But its a dangerous universe out there. Unscrupulous space merchants, planet hungry space empires, mad scientists, evil robots and androids, bizarre space monsters and freaks, creepy big headed space aliens and just plain galactic weirdness abounds out there! Its all our poor Space realtors can do just to fod planets and pay the bills. And do you know how much it COSTS to fuel a spaceship for a round the trip jaunt around the galaxy? Don't ask.


 So its a giant adventure that awaits ahead of them- or a slew of little nasty ones as they forge their way in life- and i will be posting their adventures- past and future right here.


I just have to sit down and draw them! Hope you tune in to read them- i'll be putting up something every few days! Enjoy!
